Human Growth Hormone (HGH)
is responsible for the health and vitality associated with
our youth.
By definition, HGH is : A peptide hormone secreted by the anterior pituitary gland in the brain. It enhances tissue growth by stimulating protein formation.
HGH /Human Growth Hormone is a natural hormone produced in the pituitary gland of the brain. HGH is considered "the key" hormone because it controls so many functions. It's responsible for youth, vitality, energy and all of the health benefits we associate with being young.
HGH promotes growth in children and plays an important role in adult metabolism. The body secretes the hormone, in decreasing amounts, throughout our lifetimes. The amount of hormone in the body can be measured by levels of IGF-1 (Insulin Growth Factor). Growth hormone has a profound effect on all the cells of the body, more than any other hormone because it is the cell generator.
HGH is the "master hormone" controlling many organs and body functions and is directly responsible for stimulating tissue repair, cell replacement, brain functions, and enzyme function! It’s human growth hormone that grows the cells, bones, muscles, and organs, and it is the decreasing level of human growth hormone after age 30 that slowly robs us of our "youth."
HGH can reduce body fat. HGH is prescribed and administered by a doctor in the form of injections. However, a nonprescription form is also available over the counter and through mail order.
The HGH supplements more commonly available today without a prescription fall into one of two categories, releasers and secretagogues.
Releasers are the least expensive HGH products available today. Releasers provide the building blocks of the 191 amino acid human growth hormone, predominately L-group amino acids such as L-valine and L-arginine. While these are components of true HGH, they are several chemical conversion steps away from actually being HGH. Just as building supplies are not the same as a house, releasers are not the same as actual human growth hormone.
The other main HGH supplements are secretagogues. Secretagogues contain minute amounts of human growth hormone substance (usually measured in nanograms, or hundredths of a gram). Secretagogues are a form of homeopathic medicine. Homeopathic medicine promotes the use of tiny amounts of a natural body chemical taken to stimulate the body to produce more. Absorbing small amounts of a synthetic hormone can cause the pituitary gland to secrete more of its own natural human growth hormone into the bloodstream.
Secretagogues can contain actual human growth hormone and still be available without a prescription, but only if they do so in very small amounts. Any supplement that claims to have any significant amount of true human growth hormone and is available without a prescription is either misleading you about the true nature of their product, or is in direct violation of federal law.
Pro GHR ® is one of the all natural HGH supplements available today derived from releaser amino acids. Pro GHR ® also contains specialized Growth Factors; and nutrients scientifically shown to help increase the levels of HGH in the bloodstream.
